Univair offers several ways for you to receive your order. We ship worldwide using several different carriers.
All orders are shipped Free On Board (FOB) Origin from Aurora, Colorado, USA. That means product ownership and risk of loss passes to you as soon as it is loaded onto a delivery vehicle at our facility.
In-Store Pick Up
Customers can pick up their orders for free at our Aurora, Colorado facility by appointment only. Please call your sales representative at 303-375-8882 to schedule a pick up time.
Federal Express and United Parcel Service
Both FedEx and UPS are available from Aurora, Colorado for the entire United States and over 200 countries worldwide.
Customers have the options of Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day, and Overnight delivery services. Some options may not be available depending on the product(s) being purchased. (For instance, hazmat materials can only be shipped via Ground service; no other options will be shown during checkout if you have a hazmat item in your cart.)
Note that FedEx and UPS do not guarantee delivery times, even on the more expensive expedited services (Overnight, 2-Day and 3-Day service). Neither the carriers nor Univair will refund shipping charges on these services if your package does not arrive in the expected time frame. Use these service at your own risk.
Extremely large items (airframes, top decks, spars, long struts, etc.) and 55 gallon drums of hazardous materials can only be shipped via Freight. If you have an item in your shopping cart that can only be shipped via Freight, then this will be the only option available during checkout.
Motor Freight shipments will be sent freight prepaid when possible.
Motor freight companies do not distribute their rate information, so the freight paid by you is the actual cost. If we receive a bulk rate from a particular carrier, we pass the savings on to you.
Air Freight shipments are delivered to the airport nearest to you, and you are responsible for picking up the shipment at the airport. Shipments will be sent freight prepaid when possible.
At this time, we are not using the United States Postal Service for delivery unless specifically requested by the customer. See the article Can you ship my order through the Postal Service? for more details.
